By God\u2019s amazing grace, 2014 was another great year for the Mt. Kenya Bible Baptist Fellowship of Churhes!<\/p>\n

Salvations \u2013 3,204
\nBaptisms – 882
\nCurrent Number of Active Churches – 80
\nTotal average Sunday attendance \u2013 7,790
\nAverage attendance per congregation – 97
\nTotal number in leadership training in our 5 Bible Institutes, and local church\u2019s Institutes – 468<\/b><\/p>\n

We know that much prayer and sacrificial giving has made this possible, and we don\u2019t take it for granted!\u00a0 Without prayerful intercession, these results surely would not have been possible (2 Thes. 3:1-2).\u00a0 May God richly reward all who have invested prayer and finances!!<\/p>\n

Some current prayer requests:<\/p>\n

1. Violent Islamic extremism:\u00a0 Always lurking in the shadows, complicating the outreach into the Northern regions.<\/p>\n

2. Mt. Kenya Baptist School:\u00a0 The crisis which began last year is still with us, but the situation is more hopeful.\u00a0 Please continue praying!<\/p>\n

3. Drought has hit several areas of our ministry.\u00a0 The Long Rains normally come around Easter.\u00a0 We are praying for adequate rains this year.\u00a0 Rain failure would just add more suffering to already difficult living conditions for many of our believers.<\/p>\n

4. Orphan and Children\u2019s ministries: Planning to build a permanent orphanage building(s) where there are now temporary buildings.\u00a0 Wisdom and provision needed!<\/p>\n

Again, we are so, thankful for prayers!<\/p>\n
